Wolf Mandalas

Wolf Mandalas cover

Faces mostly, and every one of them looking straight out at you. The fur is drawn as long strokes rather than pattern, so it fills faster than it looks like it will.

What is in it

About thirty of the fifty are head-on portraits framed in a mandala ring. The rest are full animals — running, howling at a moon, curled nose-to-tail — and a handful of pairs, which are the hardest pages in the book because the two coats have to stay distinguishable.

How it colours

The long fur strokes mean large areas of a single direction, which suits blending with pencils more than any other book here. If you like laying one colour over another, start with this one.
